PUMPKIN'S DRAMA CLASSES

Fall 2009 Season

Geared towards those students who have had some prior theatre experience. Creativity will be put to the test as students develop an original show from start to finish. This experience will allow them to learn the entire process of creating a show and they will have a blast doing it.

Pumpkin Theatre's original performance based class. Students will have the chance to be part of a full musical play and learn through the experience of rehearsing and performing under the instruction of theatre professionals. Students will help to create their own sets and costumes and learn the basics of technical theatre.

A first chance for young students to use their sense of imagination and creativity to explore the world of theatre and performance. Students will work with music, movement, and improvisation to take stories familiar to them and develop their own interpretation to be performed for family and friends. Students will also be given a chance to work on costume design and mask making. Skills learned can help students by developing confidence, creativity and the ability to work sucessfully in a group.
