Founded in 1967 by Sister Kathleen Marie Engers as part of the Drama Department at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, the Pumpkin Theatre has been operating as a non-profit organization since 1982.

Now in our 44th year, Pumpkin Theatre is seeing three generations enjoy theatre together. Remember the first time you were taken to the theatre?
